Irie-Stylie Cod Fish Balls

This is a very simple recipe. Whether dining alone or trying to get a party started, this easy dish can crave your snack fetish or serve-up as a delectable appetizer.

  • ½ lb CEG Cod Bits
  • 2 cups, Diced Raw Potatoes
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • ½ tsp JCS Black Pepper
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • Bread crumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying


  • Soak CEG Cod Bits in water overnight. Boil for 30mins.
  • Drain and rinse under cold water.
  • Boil potatoes for 20 mins.
  • Add butter, JCS Black Pepper and CEG Cod Bits to the potatoes. Mix well.
  • Form mixture into light balls. Dip in eggs then breadcrumb.
  • Fry in deep oil fryer until golden brown.
  • Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
